How much jewellery does it hold?
A working everyday set: several rings in the velvet rolls, a row of stud earrings, and a necklace or bracelet in the open compartment. It is not a full jewellery chest — it is sized to hold what you wear most weeks and still close in a drawer or a weekend bag.
Is it suitable for travelling?
Yes, and that is where the closed lid earns its keep. Everything stays in its own compartment rather than sliding together, so chains do not tangle against rings in transit. At 130 mm long it fits into most cabin bags.
What is the difference between this and the window-lid organiser?
This one has a mirror in the lid and a solid top, so nothing shows and you can use it while getting ready. The window-lid version shows what is inside through glass, which suits a dressing table where you want to see your pieces at a glance.
